Dale of Norway er stolte av å presentere den offisielle genseren til ski-VM i Trondheim, 2025.
Den offisielle VM-genseren er en varm og behagelig ullgenser med distinkt retropreg, der freshe farger kombineres med et klassisk uttrykk. Mønsteret er inspirert av mesterskapets verdier: samhold og inkludering, samtidig som det henter motiver fra historiske kulturminner i Trondheim.
PATTERN DETAILS
The World Championship sweater is full of exciting details, drawn from both old and modern history. The classic eight-petal rose is centered on the front of the sweater. Above it, you can see a so-called valknute, a symbol that in earlier times was believed to protect against evil forces. To the left of the eight-petal rose, the design highlights a ship, symbolizing Trondheim’s role as a maritime city.
To the left of the ship, there is a stylized excerpt from a stained-glass window in Nidaros Cathedral. And all the way to the left (visible only on certain sizes), you’ll find a stylized version of a boat with oars seen from above. To the right of the eight-petal rose, there is a stylized version of Trondheim’s coat of arms, and to the right of the coat of arms, you’ll find mirrored versions of the stained-glass motif and the boat with oars from the left side.
On the back of the sweater, the design emphasizes children, togetherness, and inclusion, strongly inspired by the logo for the Trondheim 2025 World Championship. The motifs on the back show both a boy and a girl holding hands, as well as boy and boy, and girl and girl. In addition, the stylized versions of the stained-glass windows from Nidaros Cathedral and the boat with oars are also featured here.
