After many years in stunning Lofoten, it’s hard not to bring nature into my designs when inspiration strikes. I often draw inspiration from nature’s shifting palette, especially those magical moments when the sun rises or disappears behind the mountains. With a love for traditional craftsmanship and vibrant colors, I aim to create modern garments that combine nostalgia, playfulness, and soft textures.
IR 01 SkyHigh
Directly inspired by the play of colors at sunrise and sunset, this collection seeks to capture the soft, dreamy aesthetic found in the sky as the light shifts. Each piece feels unique—just as no two skies are ever the same. This is a collection that dares to go further, offering endless possibilities in both expression and color combinations.
IR 02 Hanami
The Hanami Sweater is inspired by the cherry blossom season in Japan—a symbol of beauty, renewal, and those fleeting yet magical moments in life. The colors of the very first Hanami Sweater immediately reminded me of this blossom, and that’s how the pattern was born.
Here, colors and patterns take center stage, yet the design remains simple and is knitted in the most delightful qualities.
