Dale Garn MERINO 22 is spun from 100% extra fine, natural merino wool. The yarn is not superwash-treated, preserving the wool’s natural properties. This ensures maximum elasticity and excellent warmth and insulation, even when the garment is damp or wet. The result is a unique and eco-friendly merino yarn without any form of plastic coating.

We recommend it for all types of knitting projects and techniques, from classic pattern knitting and textured stitches to cables and lace, as well as for crochet. Due to the particularly fine wool fibers, which provide a unique softness, the yarn is equally suitable for baby and children’s garments as well as adult garments. MERINO 22 can be felted, but keep in mind that bleached white yarn CANNOT be felted (natural white is unbleached).

MERINO 22 is RWS certified. This guarantees that the wool comes from farms that ensure both sustainable land management and animal welfare, with mulesing strictly prohibited. The RWS label guarantees sustainable production from farm to finished yarn.
